New Outer Ring Road flyover set for launch

Bengaluru: The new flyover connecting Nagawara and Veeranapalya flyovers on Outer Ring Road (ORR) is an epitome of how a public-private partnership can be an answer to Bengaluru’s infrastructure woes. Notwithstanding delays induced by the pandemic , it has been executed swiftly and is all set for a formal launch.Constructed and funded by Embassy Office Parks, the Rs 180 crore flyover is expected to ease traffic towards Hebbal and benefit motorists using the stretch to reach Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) and those going towards KR Puram. The 900-metre flyover designed in consultation with BBMP and BMRDA is a one-way corridor with three lanes and has an entry lap from the business park side and an exit towards Hebbal.
