NCLT refuses to restrain Go First from flying planes
The National Company Law Tribunal Wednesday declined to restrain Go First from operating or flying aircraft, in significant relief for the beleaguered airline. In its interim order, the tribunal said as the civil aviation regulator Director General of Civil Aviation had not deregistered the aircraft, they are available to the corporate debtor to resume operations. “As long as the aircraft/engines are registered, they can be used for operating or flying to keep the corporate debtor as a going concern, however, within the safeguards/safety norms prescribed by the regulators,” the tribunal said in its order.
