HYDERABAD: An IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Nagpur was diverted to the city’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), on Saturday morning, leaving several passengers inconvenienced. According to airline staff, the aircraft, 6E 482, was diverted to Hyderabad due to VIP movement in Nagpur. It reached its destination around 1.30pm, instead of its scheduled arrival time of 10am.
Reportedly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a one-day visit to Maharashtra to inaugurate several projects including flagging off two trains (virtually), opening schools for tribals and launching a rail electrification project. He landed in Nagpur early on Saturday.
