Mumbai Metro One services hit a snag near Azad Nagar station
Mumbai: Metro One services were disrupted Wednesday evening after a train developed a technical snag near Azad Nagar station, leaving the rake stuck for nearly 25 minutes around 5 pm. The snag caused delays and crowding on the Versova–Andheri section. Officials said the faulty rake was later moved to the depot, and services normalised gradually thereafter.
A Mumbai Metro One Private Limited spokesperson said, “A train had to be withdrawn from service due to inadequate cooling. As a result, services between Versova and Azad Nagar were disrupted. Services between Andheri and Ghatkopar operated normally.
