Mumbai International Airport to suspend flight operations for six hours on November 20
Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), managed by Adani Group and the Airports Authority of India (AAI), will suspend all flight operations for six hours on November 20. The closure, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., is part of the airport’s annual post-monsoon runway maintenance programme.
According to Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL), the planned maintenance is critical to ensuring continued safety, reliability, and adherence to international aviation standards. Both runways — the primary 09/27 and the secondary 14/32 — will be temporarily non-operational during this period.
