Mumbai: Doha to Kochi Indigo flight diverted to Mumbai after engine snag mid-air
Mumbai: An IndiGo flight from Doha to Kochi was diverted to Mumbai on Sunday after one of its engines failed mid-air, aviation sources said. The Airbus A320 aircraft, operating as flight 6E1324 landed safely at 2.15 pm, they said.
A full emergency was declared at Mumbai airport before landing with fire tenders and ambulances positioned to deal with a possible emergency. All passengers and crew members are safe.
