The Anand-Nadiad station of the upcoming Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSRC) has become the first station of the corridor to complete the concourse level of the station Wednesday.
The slab work, which began in September, comprised nine portions that were completed on April 12, a release from the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) said Thursday.
“The 425-metre-long concourse level of Anand-Nadiad HSR station has been completed. The dimension of the concourse level is 425 m x 34 m, comprising nine slabs. The project used 10,500 cubic metres of concrete and 2,200 Metric Tonnes of steel reinforcement. The work on the first concourse level slab had begun on September 12, 2022, and was completed on April 12, 2023,” Sushma Gaur,
