More tariffs on cards? Donald Trump’s aide Scott Bessent calls for more sanctions on countries buying Russian oil
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has expressed that he thinks more sanctions and secondary tariffs on Russia as well as countries that buy Russian oil, which includes India, could bring about an economic ‘collapse’ in Moscow.
Such an action will bring Russian President Vladimir Putin to the table to talk about a peaceful solution regarding the conflict in Ukraine.
