Meerut Metro Milestone: First trainset arrives at NCRTC depot in Ghaziabad! Here’s all about connecting route

The first trainset of Meerut Metro reached the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) Depot in Ghaziabad’s Duhai on Wednesday.

To establish a robust public transportation system in the metropolitan city, the trainset of three indigenous cars was transported on large trailers and was unloaded for assembly and testing process.

“The Made-in-India Meerut Metro trainsets, with their modern design, are energy efficient, lightweight, and equipped with a regenerative braking system compatible with Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Control (ATC), and Automatic Train Operations (ATO),” NCRTC mentioned on the microblogging platform X.
