The Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) conducted a security check following the receipt of an email claiming the presence of explosives on a plane at the airport, according to the authorities. The city police revealed that Mangaluru was one of several airports across the country that received similar emails on Tuesday night, all purportedly sent by a terrorist group named ‘Funing’.
