Man climbs high-tension tower over family disputes

Hyderabad: A man, reportedly upset over his family members not looking for a suitable match for him, climbed atop a high-tension tower in Abdullapurmet on Monday afternoon. The incident, which occurred under the limits of Abdullapurmet police station in Ranga Reddy district, triggered panic among locals who gathered at the spot as the man refused to come down despite repeated pleas.

Police, fire department personnel, and electricity board officials immediately rushed to the scene and launched efforts to bring him down safely. After several failed attempts to persuade him, officials climbed the tower to rescue him. However, during the operation, the man lost his balance and fell from the structure, sustaining multiple injuries.
