Mahindra plans steep EV ramp-up; eyes 7,000 monthly sales by fiscal-end

Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up for a major ramp-up in its electric vehicle business, with the automaker targeting monthly EV sales of about 7,000 units by the close of the current financial year. At present, the company dispatches between 4,000 and 5,000 electric SUVs each month.

Mahindra expects EVs to make up roughly a quarter of its total sales by 2027–28.
