Maharashtra regulatory body approves MSEDCL plan for wind-solar hybrid power from NTPC

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Electricity Regulation Commission (MERC) issued an order on Sept10, approving MSEDCL’s proposal for the procurement of 780MW wind-solar hybrid power from NTPC at a tariff of Rs 3.42-3.43/kWh, including a trading margin of 7 paise/unit for 25 years.
