Lal Quila Metro station reopens gates days after Red Fort blast

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that all the entry and exit gates at Lal Quila Metro have been reopened for commuters. The gates had been closed earlier as a precautionary measure taken after the blast near the Red Fort that killed 12 people and left several injured.

Partial reopening started on Saturday after security checks

In an earlier update, shared DMRC on Saturday, initially Gates 2 and 3 were reopened. In a post on X, DMRC stated, “Gate number 2 &3 at Lal Quila Metro station are now open for commuters.” At the time, other gates remained closed as a precaution following Thursday’s full shutdown.
