Kolkata Metro Update: Purple line to run 84 weekday services, first and last train timings revised
Kolkata Metro commuters have reason to cheer as the operator announced that the Purple Line will see an increase in weekday services starting December 1, 2025. The line will now run 84 trains daily, 42 UP and 42 DN, up from the current 80 services, making travel more convenient for passengers connecting with Eastern Railway trains at Majerhat station.
