Scores of residents from the remote border area of Karnah stranded here for more than a month protested on Thursday.
The residents led by Ex MLA Raja Manzoor demanded construction of Sadhna tunnel and restoration of road connectivity which they said is cut off for more than a month following snowfall.
“We are suffering, all the land routes are closed due to snow and governments at state and centre are non-serious about construction of Sadhna tunnel,” said Raja Manzoor.
“The area is currently under darkness without electricity, there is acute shortage of essential supplies which is taking a heavy toll on the locals,” he said.
