Jet Airways pilots body National Aviator’s Guild (NAG) will host an Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday to discuss issues of salary delays arising out of the financial crisis faced by the airline.
This comes even Naresh Goyal, the promoter and chairman of Jet Airways, in a letter to his employees asked them to be patient.
Goyal said that all the stakeholders are working towards a resolution plan. “I am fully committed to ensure that your deferred salary dues are cleared on priority once all parties sign off on the Resolution Plan and I recommit to you my best and most strenuous efforts 24×7 towards this end,” Goyal said.
The airline has been facing severe financial crunch for the past three quarters and has been delaying salaries of pilots, engineers, senior management and defaulting payments to lenders and lessors.
