Jet Airways pilots call off strike amid rising Indo-Pak tensions

The pilot body had decided to go on a ‘black-band’ strike from March 1 because of salary delays for the past several months.

Amidst rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Jet Airways pilots have decided to call off the ‘Flight Safety Period’ and the black-band protest till further notice, according to the National Aviators Guild (NAG), the pilot body of Jet Airways.

The pilot body had decided to go on a ‘black-band’ strike from March 1 because of salary delays for the past several months. “All are informed that the Flight Safety Period and the black band protest has been called off till further notice. We trust all will understand the reasons behind taking this decision and stand united.”
