IRCTC website’s 99.98% uptime: Inside the Railways’ race to fix fraud and failures
The IRCTC website recorded 99.98 per cent uptime between April and October 2025, Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw told the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. This compared with an uptime of 99.86 per cent in 2024-25.
Vaishnaw said Indian Railways has been making both administrative and technological changes aimed at modernising systems across its platforms.
According to an official release, the administrative steps include deactivating suspicious user IDs, filing complaints on the National Cyber Crime Portal for PNRs booked in suspicious ways, and revalidating user IDs.
