IRCTC and Indian Railways launch airport counter to aid passengers during IndiGo meltdown

The Ministry of Railways and IRCTC have opened a helpdesk at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad to support passengers affected by widespread IndiGo cancellations and delays. Officials said the counter is issuing tickets directly to travellers who need to shift to train services.

IRCTC official Shubham Arya told ANI that tickets are being booked at the airport on a direct-payment basis and confirmed that two special trains to Delhi are currently operating. Arya said, “Railways and IRCTC are operating special trains to Delhi.
