IndiGo says check-in systems back to normal, hours after systems outage
India’s biggest carrier IndiGo said that its flight operations and check-in systems are back to normal, hours after a systems outage disrupted operations and caused long lines at airport counters, Reuters reported. IndiGo, owned by Interglobe Aviation Ltd, is the country’s largest carrier with a nearly 50% share of the domestic market.
“Our system is up now but has disrupted operations across the network, we advise you to keep a track of your flight status before leaving for the airport,”: IndiGo said in a tweet.
IndiGo’s outage comes as dozens of flights face delays or cancellations on Monday, according to reports, due to a poor visibility in New Delhi, home to India’s busiest airport.
