IndiGo leaves passengers stranded for third day as flight cancellations and delays continue

Mumbai: For the third day in a row, IndiGo left thousands of passengers stranded at check-in counters and boarding gates across the country for hours on end with no updates on their flight status. “The cancellations included 74 departures and 44 arrivals,” said an aviation source. With IndiGo cornering 65% of the domestic market share, the effect of its large-scale disruption was plainly visible on the airfares.
