IndiGo flights from Delhi & Mumbai come to a halt while Chennai, Bengaluru sputter; shares in air pocket

IndiGo has cancelled all departures from Delhi till midnight today, adding to a wave of nationwide disruptions that has strained operations for several days. The move comes as the airline continues to manage large-scale schedule instability linked to internal operational challenges. India’s biggest airline also cancelled all flights from Mumbai Airport and over 100 flights from Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport.

India’s aviation regulator on Friday eased some of the pilot duty rules. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has instructed its own inspectors to operate IndiGo flights.
