Indigo flight from Mumbai suffers bird strike at Dehradun airport, no injuries reported
An Indigo flight arriving from Mumbai suffered damage when a bird hit the aircraft’s nose on the runway of Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport near Rishikesh, officials said, adding that all 186 passengers on board are safe.
They said the incident took place around 6:45 pm after Indigo flight IGO 5032 landed, prompting officials to carry out a detailed inspection and safety audit of the runway.
