Indigo flight disruptions cause mayhem at airport

Chennai: The operational crisis of Indigo continued on Thursday with several of its services getting disrupted at Chennai airport, leaving thousands of passengers in the lurch. As many as 28 arrivals and departures were cancelled in Chennai, while 24 more flights were delayed, creating unrest among flyers to domestic and international destinations.

Though the airport authority officials said flyers were informed of cancellations in advance and that the situation was under control, scores of flyers were found stranded at the airport.
