IndiGo crisis enters day 3 as angry flyers crowd RGIA seeking refunds, missing bags

Hyderabad: The entrance to the departure terminal at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) was jammed on Friday afternoon as hundreds of flustered passengers gathered around IndiGo counters, desperate for updates on their flight schedule. With the airline cancelling all operations for the day, distressed and exhausted flyers, many waiting in queue for hours, were seen scrambling around to make alternate arrangements to reach their destinations — either for an exam, a work trip or a social event.

On Friday, the third day of the IndiGo crisis, the private carrier cancelled 71 arrivals and 84 departures from the Hyderabad airport.
