IndiGo chaos enters fifth day: Long queues, stranded passengers at Chennai Airport as IndiGo cancels several flights today

A day after IndiGo cancelled all departing flights from Chennai airport till 6 pm on Friday, the airline, witnessing a massive crisis due operational reasons, the air chaos spilling on to the fifth day. Long queues were seen at the Chennai Airport and passengers were stranded at the airport after IndiGo cancelled multiple flights today, news agency PTI reported.

In a now-deleted post, the Chennai Airport said IndiGo has cancelled 28 departing flights and 20 on-arrival flights at the Chennai Airport. “Kindly take note of the list of flight cancellations at Chennai International Airport on 06.12.2025. Passengers are requested to check with their respective airlines for further updates,” the Chennai Airport had said in a post on X on Saturday.
