Indian airlines to start resumption of flights to China by end of this month
Indian airlines will start resumption of flights to China by the end of this month while Chinese carriers are also preparing for resuming flights to Delhi.
India’s largest carrier IndiGo said that it will begin daily non-stop flights from Kolkata to Guangzhou starting October 26, 2025, with a Delhi route to follow pending regulatory clearance. The carrier will operate double daily services connecting both Delhi and Kolkata to Guangzhou.
Tata-owned Air India will also start flights between Delhi and Shanghai by this year and is awaiting approval, people aware of the development said.
