Hyundai Motor vice chairman highlights green hydrogen in energy transition at APEC CEO summit

South Korea’s auto giant Hyundai Motor Group will aim to secure a technological edge in the field of green hydrogen, as hydrogen is emerging as a central pillar in the global energy transition, as per a report by Pulse, the English service of Maeil Business News Korea.

Speaking in a session at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, on Thursday, Vice Chairman Chang Jae-hoon discussed the auto giant’s hydrogen strategy in a dialogue with Ivana Jemelkova, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Hydrogen Council.
