Bengaluru: A security guard posted at Namma Metro’s Ragigudda station on the Yellow Line had a narrow escape Monday morning after accidentally falling onto the tracks.
At 11am, the guard, reportedly fatigued, stepped beyond the yellow safety line and slipped onto the track. The lines at the station are powered by a 750 V DC third rail system, posing a high risk of electrocution. A commuter nearby acted quickly and pulled the guard back onto the platform before any harm occurred. The guard escaped without injuries.
