Government railway police transfer eight personnel in Mumbai to Ghatkopar head office over extortion charges

Mumbai: The Govt Railway Police (GRP) commissioner on Tuesday transferred eight personnel from various police stations to the Ghatkopar Head Office pending extortion charges against them.

In the wake of incidents involving railway police personnel in extortion cases, the Commissioner of Mumbai Railway, Rakesh Kalasagar, made this decision.
