GE Aerospace to invest $14 million in Pune plant to boost engine component production

GE Aerospace is investing $14 million, approximately Rs 124 crore, to expand manufacturing capacity at its facility in Pune, bringing the total investment announced to $44 million in a period of about 2 years.

The American company manufactures components at the plant, which are used for GE90, GEnx, GE9X and LEAP engines. “The new investment will strengthen the site’s capabilities through upgraded manufacturing processes and automation, including enhancements that support advanced engine components,” GE Aerospace said in a statement.
