FIR on contractor for worker’s death by electrocution

Mumbai: A helper was electrocuted while working with labourers at a commercial unit in Kandivli West on Sunday. The Kandivli police registered a case of negligence against the labour contractor on Monday for not providing safety measures. On July 23, the victim, Khadimul Gazi, suffered an electric shock after finishing work of fitting floor tiles. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. tnn
