Farmers hit as power supply is cut off

Farmers living in the backwaters of the Baje dam on the Swarna, called the Swarna First Stage, to upstream Shiroor dam, called the Swarna Second Stage, are a distraught lot after the authorities cut off power supply to their irrigation pumpsets.
