Navi Mumbai: On a busy road stretch opposite the main gate of Kharghar’s Iskcon temple, devotees and residents have to cross the open power supply cable for hoardings lying on the earmarked gap of the road divider. Activists and locals allege that the cables are public safety hazards.
A regular to the temple, Soumya Mohanty claimed, “Minimum 500 persons per day and around 1,000 persons on weekends step over the high risk open wire. This is dangerous.”
