MUMBAI: Vile Parle police earlier this week registered a case against a former Air India pilot for allegedly drawing salary and allowances worth nearly Rs 2.8 crore from the airline while he was serving on deputation with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
The complainant, Vyakant Rao, 64, a retired Air India employee, lodged a private complaint with Andheri metropolitan magistrate court, which directed Vile Parle police to register an FIR.
