Etihad Airways orders 32 new Airbus widebody aircraft in major fleet expansion
Etihad Airways announced on Tuesday that it is set to expand its medium and long-haul fleet, and has signed agreements for 32 additional Airbus widebody aircraft. Deliveries for these aircraft are expected to begin in early 2027.
The latest commitment brings together a combination of A350-1000s, A350F freighters and A330-900neos through both new orders, as well as, lease arrangements.
This move builds on Etihad’s earlier purchase this year of 28 Boeing widebodies, raising its total new long-haul acquisitions in 2025 to 60 across the two major manufacturers.
