Electricity board in Patna to use AI, automation to stop power theft and make engineers accountable

To combat electricity theft and reduce losses, the Bihar State Power Holding Company (BSPHCL) will now use artificial intelligence (AI) and other modern applications. As per a ToI report, BSPHCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Sanjeev Hans, chaired a meeting where the decision to leverage AI and other tools to tackle power theft and hold field engineers accountable was taken.
