Electric cars and buses are granted toll-free access on Mumbai’s Atal Setu, Pune Expressway and Samruddhi Mahamarg from Friday
Mumbai: Electric four-wheeler passenger vehicles and e-buses are now allowed to travel toll-free on the Atal Setu, Pune Expressway, and Samruddhi Mahamarg, effective from Friday, as part of the state’s sustainable transport goals, announced State Transport Commissioner Vivek Bhimanwar. The policy exempts both private and govt electric four-wheelers and was announced in April under the Maharashtra Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy.
Eligible vehicles for this toll relief include private electric cars, passenger four-wheelers, state transport buses, and urban public transport electric vehicles.
