DMRC team visits Green Line amid handover talks
Kolkata: Officials from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) inspected the East-West Metro on Wednesday amid talks on the possibility of handing over the Green Line’s operations to DMRC.
On Mar 14, 2024, ahead of PM Modi flagging off East-West Metro’s under-river section from Esplanade to Howrah Maidan, TOI had reported that talks to this end were held between Metro Railway, which runs Blue Line, India’s oldest metro, along with Green Line, and DMRC.
