DMRC puts up barricading and safety lights at construction sites
New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Sunday said nearly 20km of barricading have been put up across its construction sites in the city, along with 17km of blinkers and LED lights.
Over 270 traffic marshals have been deployed at these locations to ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles along metro construction sites, DMRC said. Road studs have been put on the roads to slow down traffic as it approaches vulnerable traffic points near construction sites. Warning signage indicating that work was in progress or that a diversion was ahead has also been installed.
