Disaster averted: Suspected bomb found on Bengal railway tracks; train services disrupted

NEW DELHI: A suspected bomb was reported on railway tracks about 1.5 kilometres from Sainthia railway station in West Bengal’s Birbhum district on Wednesday, triggering a swift response from security agencies and leading to a temporary halt in train movement on one track.

As per news agency ANI, Personnel from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) rushed to the spot following the alert.
