DGCA sends show-cause notice to IndiGo CEO
The civil aviation regulator, Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has sent a show-cause notice to IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers for the unprecedented disruptions in the carrier’s network which led to the cancellation of thousands of flights and stranded passengers.
Elbers has been asked to explain within 24 hours why the airline did not have adequate crew to operate flights.
