DERC seeks correction in SC order on liquidation of regulatory assets

Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) on Monday moved the Supreme Court seeking correction of the August’s judgment that asked all states and Union Territories (UTs) to clear within four years the regulatory assets of the power distribution companies, including BSES companies and Tata Power Delhi Distribution.

The Commission wants a maximum period of seven years, and not four years, to liquidate the existing regulatory assets.
