Delhi’s IGI T3 receives bomb threat that turns out to be a hoax

Delhi Airport Terminal 3 received a bomb threat e-mail on IndiGo’s grievance portal on Wednesday, which later turned out to be a hoax.

According to PTI sources, the airline received a message in the afternoon saying that the five airports will be attacked within 24 hours.

The fire brigade received a call at around 4 PM about a bomb being found at Delhi Airport Terminal 3. After investigation of the scene, it was ruled a hoax, as reported by ANI. The e-mail mentioned several other airports, including Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, and Hyderabad.
