Delhi Metro services hit for 30 mins on Blue Line
NEW DELHI: Delhi metro’s services on the Blue Line were affected due to a technical issue on Wednesday from 8.10 am to 8.40 am, officials said.
“One train had a technical problem at Uttam Nagar West metro station due to which it had to be moved with restricted speed up to Janakpuri West Metro station. To avoid delay in the following trains on the downsection (from Dwarka to Noida), this train was removed from service at Janakpuri West Metro station,” said Anuj Dayal, principal executive director, corporate communication, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
“This resulted in a bunching of trains on the affected section during the same period.
