Delhi govt to hand over construction of elevated road along Munak Canal to NHAI

New Delhi: Delhi govt will hand over the proposed construction of the Munak Canal elevated road to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The move came in view of NHAI’s stronger expertise in land acquisition and execution of large-scale highway projects.

The project entails the construction of a nearly 20km-long elevated road along the Munak Canal, connecting Inderlok to Bawana in north-west Delhi.
