Delhi flight delays: First GPS spoofing, now a tech glitch — what’s causing chaos at India’s busiest airport?

Over 100 flights were delayed at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) today. The Delhi Airport Authority confirmed that both arrivals and departures were impacted, with controllers forced to prepare flight plans manually.

“The inconvenience is deeply regretted. Passengers are advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest updates,” the Delhi Airport said in an advisory.

SpiceJet, IndiGo, and Air India all issued alerts to Delhi passengers on X (formerly Twitter), warning of widespread delays and congestion.
