Delhi Airport’s 40-year-old Terminal 2 just got upgraded: Here’s what is new & operational from Oct 26
The Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), led by GMR AERO is set to make the upgraded Terminal 2 (T2) at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport operational from October 26, coinciding with the start of the winter schedule.
Built by the Airports Authority of India four decades ago, T2 was temporarily closed in April for extensive upgrade work after state-of-the-art Terminal 1 became fully operational. The refurbished terminal is designed to handle growing passenger volumes with modern facilities and improved efficiency.
