Delhi Airport operator GMR Airports Limited announced on Monday that the passenger traffic was down by 7.5% in Q2 FY26 amid changes in airspace conditions due to geopolitical events and upgradation of Runway 10/28 at the airport.
The passenger traffic in the quarter ending September was recorded at 17.6 million, down by 7.5% YoY from 19.0 million in Q2 FY25. The company attributed the decline to “temporary disruptions in flight operations caused by changed airspace conditions amid geopolitical events” and runway upgradation.
